Offer Up!

After 52 drive-by house inspections, 17 tours with my realtor, and 1 offer already declined, I’ve braved┬ámy second offer! My strategy with this offer is to come in at list price because, although the price point is fantastic, it is outside my desired neighborhood and smaller than I had hoped for. I feel that coming in at list price does nothing to tip the scale towards acceptance or declination, and provides an even chance for either outcome.

It’s a tough market at the moment, and houses are going quickly! I would be happy to make this my first home (especially considering the rest of the inventory I’ve seen), but just as happy to continue the search… indefinitely.
